Kaduna State University, KASU implements proactive measures to support students amid tuition fee challenges

The Management of Kaduna State has deployed cutting-edge technologies aimed at improving work practices and eliminating financial leakages. This has resulted in the identification of individuals/business cafes operating in the university involved in defrauding students of school fees.
The culprits involved have been apprehended and investigation is ongoing with relevant government agencies. Kaduna State University (KASU) acknowledges the challenges some defrauded students are facing. The university management wishes to reiterate that we are a student-centered university.
In light of this, KASU has swiftly implemented proactive measures to support students during this time. Affected verified students across various fields will be given temporary clearance.
This initiative underscores KASU’s commitment to fostering an environment where student welfare remains a top priority. Moreover, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to improve transparency and eliminate leakages, businesses operating within the university premises involved in defrauding students in payments of school fees have been identified.
We urge all students to remain vigilant and exercise caution in financial transactions, both on and off campus and report any suspicious activities promptly to the appropriate authorities.
For inquiries and assistance regarding temporary clearance, please contact the Student Affairs Division of the university.
Thank you.
Signed:
Adamu Nuhu Bargo Public Relations Officer Kaduna State University.
