A team from KNUST has triumphed over Ivy League competitors to win gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Global Packaging Award 2024 in Thailand, showcasing their exceptional talent and innovation.
In a stunning achievement, a team of students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has outshone competitors from Ivy League universities to win the prestigious Global Packaging Award for 2024.
The talented trio, consisting of two females and one male, secured gold, silver, and bronze medals across three categories. Their accomplishments were celebrated at the event held in Thailand, organized under the auspices of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO).
The KNUST team was awarded a gold medal for Best Food Packaging, a silver medal for Sustainable Packaging, and a bronze medal for Food Preservation Packaging. Their innovative work highlights the exceptional talent and creativity fostered at KNUST.
The Global Packaging Award competition is designed to spotlight the talents and creativity of students in the packaging field. The 2024 edition saw participants from around the world, but the KNUST team stood out with their stellar performance.
