Professor Sulaiman Sheu Adua has been appointed as the Dean of Student Affairs at Kwara State University.


The letter of appointment from the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, and signed by the Deputy Registrar HRD, Mrs Josephine Agbana, said that the appointment was for 2 years.
Professor Sulaiman Sheu Adua, a professor of Islamic History in KWASU’s Department of Religions, holds a B. A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Ilorin.
A pioneer staff member of Kwara State University, Professor Adua, comes to the job with several administrative experience.
He has served in many capacities such as being a member of the Examination Monitoring Committee, member of the admissions committee, Chair of the Welfare Committee, Director of the Centre for Advanced and Basic Studies, and Coordinator KWASU-CAILS foundation program.
Professor Sulaiman Sheu Adua will deliver KWASU’s 18th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
