CURSORY: Relentless lady who didn’t give up when she was rejected from medical school, now in her fourth year in medical school
A South African lady has inspired a lot of people after she shared a video of her struggles in school on TikTok.
The video which was shared by (@hurricane.liya) showed the lady in front of a mirror wearing her medical uniform and her stethoscope.
Liya said that she was getting ready for her fourth year gynae rotation even after getting rejected from medical school when she applied in high school.
She stated that the rejection was not the end of the world, since she eventually got into medical school after she did course transfer in her second year in school.
‘’A reminder to the matrics of 2023 to never give up on your dreams, regardless of the response you get from universities this month. A rejection letter is a speed bump, not a dead end,” Liya captioned her post.
The lady’s story inspired many students who has experienced rejection from their choice university to move on, and not give up.
