LAUTECH Open & Distance Learning Admission Form 2026/2027 is Out [UPDATED]

Allschool is pleased to announce that Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates into the ODL Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in the Open and Distance Learning Centre (OPDL) of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Duration and Requirement for Each Programme of LAUTECH Open Distance Learning.

A. FOUR (4) YEAR DURATION

1. B.Sc. Accounting
2. B.Sc. Marketing
3. B.Sc. Computer Science
4. BN.Sc. Nursing Science

• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc Marketing 
  Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other relevant subjects. Commerce may be acceptable in lieu of Economics for B.Sc . Accounting and Marketing
• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
  Applicants must possess at least (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics with any two of the following subjects: Further Mathematics, Chemistry, ,Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics and Geography
• Admission Requirements for BN.Sc. Nursing Science 
  Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects. In addition, applicants should possess Registered Nurse Certificate (RN) or its equivalent. credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

B. THREE (3) YEAR DURATION

1. B.Sc. Accounting
2. B.Sc. Marketing
3. B.Sc. Computer Science

• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Marketing
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from recognised polytechnics with a minimum of Lower Credit in Accounting/Marketing with relevant professional qualification may be considered.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised polytechnics with pass in Accounting/Marketing or other related disciplines may also be considered
  • Good credit passes in “A” Level certificate in relevant subjects may also be considered.
• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognised polytechnic with Minimum of Upper Credit in Computer Science Engineering/Technology or any other relevant disciplines may also be considered.
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from recognised polytechnics with a minimum of Lower credit in Computer Science or Computer Engineering / Technology with relevant professional qualifications may be considered.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognised polytechnics with Pass in Computer Science or Computer Engineering/Technology or other relevant disciplines may also be considered

C. TWO (2) YEAR DURATION

1. B.Sc. Accounting
2. B.Sc. Marketing
3. B.Sc. Computer Science

• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Marketing
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognised polytechnics with a minimum of Lower Credit in Accounting/Marketing or other relevant disciplines may also be considered.
  • Third class degree in Accounting/Marketing.
  • Candidates in every category above must possess at least Five (5) Credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings in ‘O’ level subjects
• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognized Polytechnics with a Minimum of Lower Credit in Computer Science or Computer Engineering/Technology or any other relevant disciplines may also be considered.
  • Third Class degree in Computer Science
  • Candidates in every category above must obtain Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NABTEB and or NECO

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY: Computer proficiency training and test will be conducted for all applicants.
