A lecturer at Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology (BOUESTI), Ikere-Ekiti, recently sparked widespread laughter online after discovering how his students interpreted his instruction to appear in corporate attire for a class presentation.

The lecturer, identified on TikTok as @badboyy.mo, had asked his students to dress formally for the occasion. However, what he got was far from traditional corporate wear.

In the viral clip, some students showed up in rumpled shirts paired with jeans, others wore slippers, while a few simply tucked casual shirts into trousers and called it “corporate.” Amused but also a little disappointed, the lecturer captioned the video with the words: “Corporate dey cry.”
