Man Pays Outrageous Bride Price for Marrying a Graduate

A lady revealed a marriage negotiation to her cousin.
She revealed that her cousin, who is a Medical Doctor and Surgeon was asked to pay N1.5 million as bride price and an additional N60,000 to obtain the list of marriage items he needed to purchase.

Defending the exorbitant bride price, the bride’s family hammered in the fact that their daughter is a “graduate”.
The post read:
“Today, my cousin paid 1.5 million as bride price and 60k to collect the list plus the things on the list. The girl’s family said it’s 1.5 million because she’s a ‘graduate.’ My cousin is a Medical Doctor/Surgeon, but oh well! It doesn’t matter to them.”
