MAUTECH Notice on Declaration of Public Holiday & Mid-Semester Break 2026.

This is to inform all staff and students that the Federal Government has declared Thursday 19th and Friday, 20th March, 2026 as Public Holiday for Eid-el-Fitr Sallah Celebrations.

Equally, the University Management has considered and approved a Mid-Semester Break with effect from Monday, 23rd – Friday, 27th March, 2026.

To this end, all offices will close after working hours on Wednesday, 18th March, 2026 and to resume as on Monday, 30th March, 2026 accordingly.

All essential services shall be maintained during the holiday/break period. Departments/Units concerned should ensure that these services are provided accordingly, please. Thank you
