“My Original WAEC Certificate”: Lady Spends N40,000 to Visit Her Secondary School to Collect Results

Cursory: A Nigerian woman shared her experience and expenses of retrieving her original WASSCE, NECO, and JSCE certificates from her alma mater in Calabar. She invited others to share their experiences of retrieving original certificates from their secondary schools.

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to share her experience and expenses incurred when collecting her original West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) certificate in Calabar.

The journey led her to the Navy Secondary School, where she graduated several years ago.

In a TikTok video shared by @simplychipps, the woman revealed that in addition to her WASSCE certificate, she also collected her original NECO and JSCE certificates during her visit to her alma mater.

Detailing her expenses, she disclosed that the total cost of her trip to Calabar and expenses within the school premises amounted to N40,000.

With a hint of humor, she concluded her video by jokingly stating that she had completed her business with the school and might not return anytime soon.

The caption accompanying the video invited others to share their own experiences and expenses incurred when retrieving their original certificates from secondary schools.

The woman’s candid recounting of her journey resonated with many social media users, sparking discussions and prompting others to reflect on their own experiences with collecting academic certificates.

Her post served as a reminder of the significance attached to these documents and the lengths individuals go to ensure their possession.
