In line with the 2024/2025 school academic calendar, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Education, wishes to announce school resumption for Second-Term, 2024/2025 Academic Session for all Public and Private Schools in the State as follows;

• Sunday 5th January, 2024 resumption for all Boarding Secondary schools across the State.
• Monday 6th January, 2025 resumption date for all Day schools and completion of First Term Examination/Commencement of teaching.

By this announcement, Parents/Guardians are requested to send their children/wards to schools as Principals and Head Teachers have been directed to commence normal academic activities on Monday 6th January, 2025.

All Chief Evaluation Officers (CEOs) are directed to monitor and ensure compliance, please.
