Renowned American comedian, actor, and television host Nick Cannon has proudly graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C., earning a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology/Administration of Justice, with a minor in Africana Studies.
Cannon, who began his academic journey at the Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in 2016, completed his degree in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and delivered a speech at the university’s virtual graduation ceremony.
“I graduated from Howard University today! Had the opportunity to speak at the virtual ceremony—Master’s and PhD next!” he announced via Instagram, sharing a video of himself in his graduation cap and gown.
Driven by a desire for personal growth and inspired by leaders like Nelson Mandela, Cannon described education as a powerful tool for change. “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world,” he quoted upon enrolling.
