Lady Sparks Outrage Online, Says Boyfriend Who Pays School Fees is a Failure

A Nigerian woman who claimed to think her boyfriend, who makes N300k a month, is a failure provoked fury on social media when she said they still ride bikes because he can’t afford a car despite his paycheck.

The girlfriend also revealed that she had had enough and that she wanted to end it with him.

She made this startling admission in a letter that was posted on Instagram by @couplestherapies. The woman lamented in the brief letter that her lover had fallen short of her expectations and that she deserved better. She claimed that they had been dating for a while and that his life had not improved.

As she noted in the letter, she compared him with his buddies who were performing better and came to the conclusion that her lover was lagging behind.

The leaked letter has gained widespread attention on social media and received a range of responses from internet users.

Some people criticized the lady for her materialism and lack of gratitude, because in the letter she had also revealed that he was paying school fees for 3 of his siblings, plus her own making it four people. Not only that, he also took care of other expenses for them.

They urged the guy to break up with her and look for a partner who would value him. As at the time this report was filed, neither the woman nor the man’s identities were known. It’s also unclear whether they’ve split up or worked things out.
