Goshen Miteu, a Nigerian man from Ikorodu, Lagos, earned a first-class degree in Biochemistry from Caleb University and a master’s with distinction from the University of Nottingham, UK, on fully funded scholarships, attributing his success to perseverance, support from family.


A brilliant Nigerian man, Goshen Miteu, has demonstrated academic excellence by earning a first-class bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Caleb University, Nigeria, and a master’s degree with distinction in Biotechnology from the University of Nottingham, UK.
Goshen, who was the overall best graduating student at Caleb University, received the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship to pursue his master’s degree in the UK. Reflecting on his achievements, Goshen expressed deep gratitude, highlighting that his success fulfilled his dream of studying in both the United Kingdom and the United States on fully funded scholarships.
Coming from humble beginnings in Ikorodu, Lagos, Goshen secured scholarships worth 45 million Naira, covering all expenses, including tuition, living costs, and health insurance. He emphasized the importance of perseverance and resilience, sharing that he and his peers supported each other throughout their academic journey.
Goshen also expressed appreciation for the strong connections and networks he built during his studies, stating that these experiences and memories will last a lifetime. He remains committed to applying the knowledge and skills he acquired to future endeavors and considers his academic journey a continuous process of growth and learning.
