Raheemah Azeez, a top-performing Nigerian scholar, earned an MBA with distinction from the University of Derby in the UK through a Commonwealth Scholarship, winning the Best Student Award and inspiring others with her academic excellence and leadership.


Raheemah Azeez, a determined Nigerian scholar, has graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from the University of Derby, United Kingdom, earning the Derby Business School Prize as the Best Student in Business Administration and Management.
Raheemah pursued her MBA through the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, a fully funded award that covered her tuition, flights, monthly stipend (£1,690), and additional study and clothing grants.
Prior to her MBA, she completed her undergraduate studies in Finance at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, where she graduated in the top 1% of her class and was named Best Graduating Female Student in both her department and faculty.
During her time at the University of Derby, Raheemah not only excelled academically but also actively contributed to campus life — serving as a Student Representative for the MBA Global program, participating in the Enactus Society, and joining the Hallyu Kpop Wave Club.
Grateful for the opportunities she received, Raheemah shared her achievement and appreciation on social media, becoming an inspiration to other African students pursuing excellence abroad.
