NMS Zaria Resumption Date For 2022/2023 Session

Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria Resumption Date for Fresh/Newly Admitted JSS 1 Students for First Term Academic Activities for 2022/2023 Academic Session.

This is to inform the General Public, Parents, Guardians and Teachers that the Nigerian Military School (NMS) Zaria has announced the Resumption Date for commencement of academic activities for the 2022/2023 academic session.

All Successful Candidates are to report to the School to resume training on 15th October, 2022. 

You are also requested to come along with your Letter of Admission, duly completed Acceptance Form, Parents’ Letter of Undertaking and Consent Form respectively.

Nigerian Military School (NMS) Zaria Requirements 2022/2023 Academic Session

You are to report with the following items among other requirements, with your name clearly marked on each item:

a. Beddings.

• One new Blanket (blue).
• One treated Mosquito Net.
• 2 White Bed Sheets/Pillow Cases.
• 2 Company Colour Bedsheets/Pillow Cases.

(a) Kaduna – Blue

(b) Lagos – Yellow

(c) Ibadan – Red

(d) Enugu – Green

(e) Abuja – Purple

(f) Calabar – Brown

(g) Zaria – Pink

b. Mosque or Church Wears.

• 2 White Shirts (Shorts Sleeves) or Kaftan.
• 2 White Trousers (Not Jeans type).
• 1 Pair of white Canvas shoes.
• 2 Pairs of brown Sandals.
• 2 Black Belts.
• 1 Pair of bathroom Slippers.
• 2 Pairs of Shorts (deep blue colour).

c. Other items.

• One Pressing Iron (electric).
• 1 Towel (medium size).
• One School Bag(Black).
• 6 Singlets (white).
• 6 Boxers.
• One Iron Bucket.
• A Set of Cutlery – for personal use.
• 2 Plates – for personal use.
• 1 Stainless Cup with cover – for personal use.
• 1 Hoe.
• 1 Broom.
• 4 Passport Photographs and a File Jacket.
• A Photocopy of Birth Certificate.
• A Photocopy of Certificate of Indigeneship from the State or Local Government.

d. Company and Sport Wears. Boys will be issued with 2 pairs of House Wear, a pair of Company and sports wear each.

e. Mufti. Apart from the items of civil dress in paragraph 2b(1 & 2), no Boy would be allowed to appear in mufti (civil dress). All other items of dress not specified would be confiscated.
