The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2026/2027 Fresher Students has been announced.


This is to inform all Study Centre Directors and matriculating students that the 30th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2026_1 Academic Semester will hold on Wednesday, 8th April, 2026 across all the study centres of the University.
The Ceremony will be held virtually. A weblink and time for all the Study Centres and matriculating students to join the ceremony will be forwarded in due course.
Study Centre Directors are kindly enjoined to organize the orientation programme on Tuesday, 7th April, 2026 for all the newly admitted students.
Above information is for all Centre Directors noting and necessary compliance, please.
The Ceremony will be held virtually. A weblink for all the Study Centres and matriculating students to join the ceremony will be forwarded in due course.
Study Centre Directors are kindly enjoined to organize the orientation programme including the distribution of academic gowns as well as matriculation oath forms to students.
