NWUK Issues Important Notice on Delay in Certificate Issuance.

The Management of Northwest University, Kano has taken note of a video currently circulating on social media regarding the delay in the issuance of certificates, particularly for graduands who participated in the Second Combined University Convocation.
The general public is hereby informed that some of the certificates have already been delivered to the University from the United Kingdom and are available for collection at the Office of the Registrar.
Management wishes to clarify that the delay in the issuance of certificates was caused by errors identified on the certificates. It was observed that a number of certificates were printed with errors, particularly relating to the endorsement details, which did not align with the correct and officially approved information earlier provided by the University.
The General Manager of the printing company has acknowledged the error and the resulting delay during official communications and has assured the University that the printing, correction, and delivery of the remaining certificates will be completed.
Consequently, the University has formally expressed its strong dissatisfaction over the prolonged delay despite repeated reminders and has requested a written explanation from the company.
The University wishes to further inform graduands that the following certificates are ready for collection at the Office of the Registrar:
- Undergraduate Students – 2023/2024 Session
- Postgraduate Students – 2022/2023 Session
Collection of the available certificates will commence from Monday, 22nd December, 2025. Collection is from Mondays to Fridays, between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
In view of the above:
- Graduands are strongly advised to seek accurate information only from the appropriate University officials.
- The remaining certificates will be delivered by the printing company from the UK upon completion of the necessary corrections.
- The University sincerely apologizes to all affected graduands whose certificates are yet to be received and assures them that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure prompt completion and delivery.
Northwest University, Kano sincerely appreciates the patience and understanding of all affected graduands and the general public. The University wishes to assure everyone that it is actively engaging the printing company and taking all necessary steps to ensure that the remaining certificates are corrected, completed, and delivered without further delay.
