Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU SUG update on Graduates’ NYSC Pre-mobilization issues.

The leadership of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Students’ Union received series of complaints on NYSC Pre-mobilization issues faced by graduated students. The Union Vice President and Welfare Director had a meeting with the Dean of Students’ Affairs (DSA) on how to address, nip the problem in the bud and proffer possible solutions.
The DSA made it known that the NYSC Mobilization are done in batches and each batch has certain number of graduates, those whose names are not on the first batch will be on the subsequent batches.
The DSA made it clear during the course of the meeting that the payment for the NYSC Pre-mobilization is once, any individual that has made payment and his or her name is not on the first batch does not have to panic or think there is another payment to be made.
He implored graduates to keep their receipts/evidence of payment. In conclusion, payment for NYSC Pre-mobilization is to be made once, make sure not to do this more than once, the money is not going into the school’s account, hence refund is not guaranteed. Thank you!
