JAMB announced Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin as the highest scorer in the 2026 UTME with 372 marks, followed by Enwere Kingsley Ikenna with 370 and Bamisile Ayomide Emmanuel with 369.


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed the names of the highest-scoring candidates in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin emerging as the overall best candidate nationwide after scoring 372 out of a possible 400 marks.
The announcement was made during JAMB’s 2026 admission policy meeting held in Abuja on Monday. Jesudunsin, who is from Ekiti State but wrote the examination in Ogun State, chose Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as her preferred course of study.
Coming second on the list is Enwere Kingsley Ikenna from Imo State, who achieved an impressive score of 370. He applied to study Computer Science at Nile University of Nigeria.
Bamisile Ayomide Emmanuel from Ondo State secured the third-highest score with 369 points. He selected Software Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) as his first-choice programme.
The release of the best-performing candidates has attracted widespread attention across the country, with many Nigerians commending the students for their exceptional academic achievements in the highly competitive examination.
