OYSCATECH appoints Mr. Modupe Aderemi Ogundepo as new bursar

The governing council of OYSCATECH had named Mr. Modupe Aderemi Ogundepo as the new substantive bursar of the institution.

OYSCATECH names Mr. Modupe Aderemi Ogundapo as its new substantive bursar, as per a letter from Professor Lateef Sanni, the Chairman of the Governing Council.

The appointment, approved by Prof. Salihu Abdulwaheed Adelabu, Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, is effective for a four-year term starting April 26, 2024.

According to a letter signed by the Governing Council Chairman of the Institution, Professor Lateef Sanni: “I am pleased to inform you that the Honourable Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Prof Salihu Abdulwaheed Adelabu vide a letter with Ref. No. C.2416F/14 dated 25th April, 24 has graciously approved your appointment as Substantive Bursar for Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora for a single term of four years, effective from 26th April, 2024.”

Mr. Ogundapo was previously serving as the acting bursar since January 1,2023.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, graduating with First Class honors in 2011.

His career journey includes roles at Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic and various positions within OYSCATECH, where he joined in 2008 and rose to Deputy Bursar in 2017. Beyond academia, he has contributed to the private sector and co-published academic works.

Additionally, Mr. Ogundapo has actively participated in committees within OYSCATECH and holds fellowships with professional accounting bodies.
