Don’t worry Jem, I will link you up to one of his friends who is equally rich. Rosy promised.

In the middle of the conversation, Rosy had a call.

Hi baby, what’s up with you?
I was just discussing you with my friend. She spoke happily.

Rosy, is that your fiance Eugene on the phone? Jemima inquired.

Yeah sure, that’s my sweetest cutest Eugene. Rosy responded happily.

Kindly let me say hello. Jemima requested and took over from Rosy.

Hello dear Eugene, I’m glad to have the opportunity to speak with you. How are you? Jemima spoke softly.

Very well Jemima, Rosy has said a lot of good things about you and I am waiting to meet you. He responded.

They all had a fun talk on the phone till he hanged up.

Soon, it was weekend and Eugene requested to take the two friends out for a dinner.

Hello Eugene, you look more than described. Jemima complimented.

Thanks Jemi, and you ain’t looking bad yourself. Please have a seat. Eugene offered.

Rosy clinched to her fiancee as they ate.
Baby, you know I am the luckiest lady on earth to have you right? She said.

And I am the happiest guy to have a slim curved woman like you. Mum will be too glad to meet you. Eugene whispered back.

Hey guys, don’t forget I am here with you. Can I have your attention? Jemima interrupted.

Sorry girlfriend, I was carried away. Rosy playfully responded.

Carried away indeed. Jemima thought.

Anyway, I will like to take some pictures of the latest beautiful couple as you are. Can you please pose? She stated and stood up from her seat.

Quickly, Rosy also stood up from her seat and sat on Eugene’s laps.

Damn it guys, I forgot my camera is bad. Eugene dear, can I please have your phone? Jemima smartly requested.

No Jem, my camera is better than his. Don’t forget he bought this iPhone for me not long ago. Rosy resisted and rather gave her phone to Jemima to take the shots.

Jemima reluctantly took the shots and handed the phone back to her friend.

In few seconds, she thought of leaving the restaurant.
Guys, I am having abdominal cramps, can you drive me back to campus? She requested.

No problem at all, let’s go then. Eugene responded and drove the two of them back to campus.

See you girls later, stay safe for me my love, and Jemima, please get well soon. He said.

No Eugene, I ain’t going to the hostel, I am coming with you to spend the rest of the day. Rosy insisted.

Rosy, I ain’t feeling well, and I expect you to stay by me. Jemima complained.

Jem, it is just an abdominal cramp, you will soon be fine. Rosy responded and ordered her fiancee to drive away.

Oh really? Rosy is flaunting her fiance on me right? We shall see. Jemima soliloquised.

Meanwhile in Eugene’s car, the two lovebirds decided to gossip about Jemima.

Baby, your friend is a nagger, she was complaining almost at everything. Don’t you think so? Eugene asked.

I know right baby, just ignore her. Rosy answered.

I don’t think I like her personality, I suggest you stay away from her. Eugene cautioned.

Come on baby, it has not gotten to this. She is my friend and I can’t do away with her. Besides, she is a writer, and I am hoping to learn the skill of writing from her. Rosy objected.

I am your fiance, and will soon be your husband, if you don’t heed to my advice now, when will you? Eugene unhappily asked.

Can we stop this conversation Eugene? This should be my headache and not yours. Rosy responded almost in anger.

Eugene and Rosy drove into a hotel to have fun, but due to their misunderstanding, the both of them acted so cold throughout the night till the next morning when Eugene drove Rosy back to campus.

Jemima also acted so cold towards Rosy when she entered the hostel.

Jem, I’m sorry for what happened yesterday, please forgive me. Rosy apologized.

Rosy, I have a condition for this friendship. She responded harshly.

God, what can this be? I don’t want to loose my friendship with Jemima, or else, my dream will be shattered. Rosy thought sadly.
