Prince Abubakar Audu University Debunks Kidnapping Rumors, Assures Campus Safety

The attention of the Management of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, has been drawn to a false and malicious rumour making the rounds on social media, alleging the presence of kidnappers on campus.

The University Management categorically states that there is no case of kidnapping or any such incident within or around the University campus. This unfounded claim is nothing but a fabrication designed to incite panic, disrupt academic activities, and tarnish the image of the Institution.

Students and members of the University community are strongly advised to disregard this baseless rumour and go about their lawful academic and social activities without fear or anxiety. Security within the campus remains tight and uncompromised.

The University hereby issues a stern warning. Any student or individual found to be responsible for originating, spreading, or promoting such false information—whether online or offline—will face severe disciplinary actions, including suspension or expulsion, and may be prosecuted in accordance with relevant laws governing the misuse of communication platforms.

The Management remains committed to the safety and well-being of all students and staff and will not tolerate any attempt to destabilise the peace and order of the campus.
