In a surprising revelation, a member of the National Youth Service Corps, @OmHaddy, shared the amount he receives monthly from his place of primary assignment (PPA). Posting on X, he displayed an alert of N2,000, highlighting that the NYSC anticipates him to sustain himself with this income.
He expressed the view that the NYSC is largely redundant and mentioned that he wouldn’t have opted for it if he weren’t aiming for a 9-5 job soon.
He tweeted: “If I post a screenshot of how much I’m paid monthly where my PPA attached me to, this timeline would go bonkers.
“If not for prospects of being a 9-5 worker, this scheme is highly unnecessary.” He maintained that the N2k was what he received for January 2024, adding that he has no reason to lie. His tweet got people talking.
