UDUS Notice on Appointments of Deputy Vice Chancellors (DVCs).

The Governing Council of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, at its 176th meeting held on Wednesday, 1st April, 2026, in line with the provision of the Law, has approved the appointments of the following:

• Professor Muhammad Malami Maishanu, Department of Accounting, as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration)
• Professor Shehu Usman Gulumbe,
  Department of Statistics, as the
  Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic)
• Professor Aliyu Jibrin, Department of
  Theriogenology and Animal Production, as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Development).

Congratulations to the appointed DVCs. We pray for a successful service to our university.
