UNIABUJA End of the Year Break 2025.


The University Management has approved an end of the year break for both staff and students. Therefore, the University will be closed for all Academic and Administrative activities with effect from Wednesday, 17th December, 2025 to Sunday, 4th January, 2026. Normal activities in the University will resume on Monday, 5th January, 2026.
However, all staff on essential services such as Safety Unit, Health Services, Works & Services and staff of all other essential Departments/Units are exempted from the break. These categories of staff are to remain in their duty post during the end of year break.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of Council, Senate and Management wishes both staff and students Happy Christmas and a prosporous New Year in advance!.
