Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for admission into the following professional diploma programmes run by the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Institute of Public Administration and Extension Services (IPAES).
- Diploma in Health Administration and Management (DHAM)
- Diploma in Nursing Administration and Management (DNAM)
UNIBEN Professional Diploma Programmes Admission Requirements.
(A) DIPLOMA IN HEALTH ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT (DHAM)
Duration: One-Year.
Candidates seeking admission into this programme should possess any of the following qualifications:
- A University degree in Medicine, Nursing, Hospital Administration or any of the Medical Sciences.
- Professional Certificates in Nursing: Nigeria Registered Nurse (NRN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Midwife: State Registered Midwife (SRM), Registered Midwife (RM), in addition to at least, five (5) years experience in health care organizations.
- A professional qualification in Hospital/Health Administration or Public Health.
(B) DIPLOMA IN NURSING ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT (DNAM)
Duration: One-Year.
Candidates seeking admission into this programme should possess any of the following qualifications:
- Registered Professional Certificates in Nursing: Nigeria Registered Nurse (NRN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Midwife: State Registered Midwife (SRM), Registered Midwife (RM) in addition to at least, five (5) years post qualification experience.
- University degree in Nursing.

- Click on “start a new application”, read the instruction and click on “continue”.
- Fill in your personal data and select “programme type” Faculty, department and programme for both first and second choice course.
- Click on “pay withcard” to make application fee payment of Twelve thousand five hundred naira with either visa or master card on Remita.
- Application number will be generated after a successful payment and Reference Number will be sent to the specified and functional “Email Address”. After completing and submission of form, print the online form, Application form and referee forms,
