The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof Florence Obi has approved the appointments of 3 Heads of Department (HODS) in the Faculty of Pharmacy.


Those appointed are (HOD) of Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Prof Maxwell Abide (HOD) of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, Dr (Mrs) Akpabio Ekaette and HOD of Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology. Pharm Abuh Samuel .
In a letter signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof Florence Obi their appointments is for a period of two years with effect from 28th June 2024 to 27th 2026.
The newly appointed Heads of Departments are expected to bring to bear their wealth of knowledge and experience even as they discharge their official duties diligently by effective administering their Departments to ensure optimal productivity.
The letter further stated that Management would not hesitate to sanction any HOD who fails to turn in student results within the given time line, or who acts in breach of University regulations.
This is even as relevant sections of the University have been informed to accord them the necessary courtesies associated with the office.
Congratulations to the newly appointed HODs.
