UNIJOS Post UTME Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

This is to inform all 2025 UTME/DE candidates who applied for admission into the University of Jos, made the institution their FIRST CHOICE, and meet the Departmental cut-off marks, to register online for the Screening Exercise scheduled from 18th August 2025 to 9th October, 2025.

LATEST UPDATE: EXTENSION OF UNIJOS POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ONLINE SCREENING FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University of Jos hereby announces the extension of Online Screening exercise for all qualified candidates who applied for admission into the University in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and those who applied for Direct Entry into the University through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

ELIGIBILITY: All UTME and Direct Entry candidates must have subscribed to the University of Jos as their first choice and scored not less than the Institutional cut-off marks and the differential cut-off marks as presented for various Faculties and Programmes.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: The Online registration portal for the Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening would be opened from 2nd to 9th October, 2025.

Please, note once again that the online Screening for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates continues from 2nd October, 2025 to end on 9th October, 2025.

Any candidate who fails to participate in the ONLINE Screening will not be considered for admission into the University of Jos while supplying false information will result in disqualification.

Candidates are allowed to use a maximum of two different ‘O’ level examination results.

How to Apply for UNIJOS Post UTME.

REGISTRATION GUIDE

Step 1: Create an Account

1. Go to portal.unijos.edu.ng.
2. Click FORMS APPLICATION.
3. Select 2025 UTME/DE Screening.
4. Read the pop-up message carefully, then close it.
5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Get Started.
6. Fill in the sign-up form with your email, phone number, and password.
7. Submit the form.
8. Check your email, open the activation message, and click the activation link.

Step 2: Pay the Screening Fee

1. Return to portal.unijos.edu.ng and click LOGIN.
2. Enter your registered email and password, then click Login.
3. On your dashboard, click Make Payment to pay the screening charges.
4. Follow the payment instructions until it is successful.
5. Print both the portal receipt and the Remita receipt sent to your email.
6. Click Proceed to print your screening summary for reference.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Only candidates who selected University of Jos as first choice will be uploaded on the portal.
2. Confirm you meet the departmental cut-off mark before registering; otherwise, change course via JAMB CAPS.
3. Upload your O’level results to JAMB CAPS before registration.
4. All candidates must first accept their admission offer on JAMB CAPS within 4 weeks of its release before it will reflect on the University of Jos portal.
5. Failure to upload O’Level results and comply with all the above guidelines may result in delays or exclusion from the admission process.

Any candidate who fails to participate in the ONLINE Screening will not be considered for admission into the University of Jos.

PLEASE NOTE:

• JAMB has indicated that it would not clear any shortlisted candidate who does not have ‘O’ level results.  All candidates therefore, are advised to visit any JAMB Office or accredited CBT centre nearest to them to upload their ‘O’ Level results (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB).
• All candidates who do not satisfy the University screening conditions above are advised to provide details for consideration by other institutions.  (Note that supplying false information will result in disqualification).  You are allowed to supply a maximum of two different ‘O’ level examination results.
• Candidates interested in change of course should please check subject combination and programme requirement before doing so.

1. Does UNIJOS Write Post UTME?
   No they do not write post utme! They only conduct online screening. That is, you just register for their screening online and hope you gain admission.
2. How Can I get Admission in UNIJOS?
   It’s simple. Just make sure you reached the school’s departmental cut-off mark and apply for their post utme.
3. What is the Cut-Off mark for UNIJOS?
   The cut-off mark is 180-250 depending on the course you’re applying for.
