Nigerian University Students Reveal How Much They Spend Per Day In Funny Video

Cursory: University of Lagos students have disclosed their daily spending amounts in a viral Tiktok video.

One of Nigeria’s most esteemed and well-known universities is the University of Lagos (Unilag). It is renowned for its research, academic brilliance, and alumni who have achieved success in a variety of professions.

The video, which has gone viral on social media, shows different responses from different students, ranging from 1000 naira to 5000 naira.

Some students claimed to spend as much as 5000 naira—equal to around $12—per day. They added that this sum pays for their travel, lodging, meals, refreshments, airtime, and other costs. Other students reported that they only spend roughly $7 each day, or 3000 naira.

Some students find that this amount covers all of their essential expenses, including food, transportation, and rechargeable cards.

There are also a group of students who do not go as high as the rest who admitted they only cough out just a thousand naira daily in school.Nigerians have responded in great numbers to the TikTok video online, commenting on the diverse lives and spending patterns of Unilag students.

Some praised them for being smart and prudent, while others criticized them for being extravagant and wasteful.
