Barely 24 Hours of a directive from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Management banning
Final year students from engaging in signing out activities. three students have fallen victim to the rule.

It was gathered that some students who wrote their final examination today assumed the ban might not take effect immediately, gathered their friends and family to sign on their shirts.
Video shows security operatives storming a hall to arrest two young women and one young man for engaging in signing off activities despite the ban.
It could be recalled that UNIZIK had earlier declared an indefinite suspension of signing-off ceremonies, citing repeated cases of disorder, violence, property damage, and infiltration of unauthorized persons during such events.
According to the Registrar, Dr. Chinenye Okeke, students caught engaging in the outlawed activities risk serious disciplinary sanctions, including expulsion, while non-students could face prosecution for breach of peace.
With this arrest, Nnamdi Azikiwe University is already enforcing the newly announced ban.
