Yobe State University’s Governing Council has approved the promotion of 29 academic staff members, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s pursuit of academic excellence.

Sixteen (16) academic staff members have been promoted to the rank of Professor:

1. Dr. Muhammad Yunus Mahre – Professor of Applied Chemistry
2. Dr. Mohammed Musa Lawan – Professor of Environmental Analytical Chemistry
3. Dr. Mahdi Alhaji Musa – Professor of Information Technology
4. Dr. Sani Isa – Professor of Applied Mathematics
5. Dr. Mohammed Bukar Ngamdu – Professor of Geography (Agro-Climatology)
