Oluwatomisin’s Journey to Excellence
Oluwatomisin’s journey toward this historic success began in 2018, when he gained admission into Lagos State University (LASU) to study Law. From the very beginning, he demonstrated deep passion for the legal profession and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
After six years of consistent hard work, he graduated from LASU in 2024 with a Second Class Upper Division and proceeded immediately to the Nigerian Law School, a mandatory program for law graduates seeking to be called to the Nigerian Bar.
Determined to surpass his previous achievements, Oluwatomisin devoted long hours to study, mastering the complex subjects of Nigerian law. His dedication paid off as he graduated with First-Class Honours and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Out of thousands of candidates nationwide, he was named the Second Best Graduating Student for the 2025 session.

His Reflections
In a heartfelt post on LinkedIn, Oluwatomisin expressed immense gratitude to God, his parents, mentors, and supportive friends. He revealed that his goal from the start was not only to graduate with distinction but also to be counted among the best.
“Most of my friends in law school nicknamed me ‘BGS,’ meaning Best Graduating Student — and that pushed me to work even harder,” he wrote.
He also reflected on one of his proudest achievements — being named the 3rd Best Student in Corporate Law Practice, a subject he once found particularly challenging.
“That recognition meant so much to me because Corporate Law was the toughest course for me. It reminded me that hard work truly pays off,” he added.
A Symbol of Resilience and Discipline
Oluwatomisin’s achievement is not only a testament to his academic brilliance but also to his resilience, focus, and discipline — qualities that exemplify the best of Nigeria’s young legal minds.
As he steps into the next phase of his legal career, he remains open to counsel and associate roles, eager to contribute meaningfully to the legal profession with the same excellence and dedication that have defined his journey so far.
