Most of our concerns are first world problems e.g. long lines at the McDonalds drive through (my beef this morning). It is hard to imagine what this young man had to go through to make it this far. Coo Yah – from Kakuma Refugee camp to McGill’s alum list !! As my late Jamaican mom would say “Rockstone a riva bottom nu know sun hot” (google it)

Its wonderful to hear your story and how you left a refugee camp and relocated to another part of the world where you found an opportunity which led to academic success. May God bless your life and may you continue on the path of success. I also hope that you will make an effort to help others who are in the same situation you were in, who also need someone or something that will open a door for them. God bless you, my dear brother!
