Hailing from Wilton, Paul attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the College of Jersey, marking a historic milestone as the youngest student to earn a bachelor’s degree with a flawless 4.00 GPA (Summa Cum Laude) in the university’s annals.

Remarkably, at the age of 16, Paul completed his high school education at Wilton High School while simultaneously gaining acceptance into the Medical Program at New Jersey Medical School. Praising Paul’s academic prowess, his biology professor, Dr. Melkamu G. Woldemariam, described him as a gifted, driven, and disciplined student.
During his time at the university, Paul actively participated in research endeavors at Yale Medical School and authored articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Reflecting on his academic journey, Paul expressed his enthusiasm for delving into advanced coursework, deeming it a fulfilling pursuit.
“Exploring advanced courses is always a thrilling and rewarding exercise for me,” he said
Beyond academia, Paul engaged in various extracurricular activities, including choir participation, EMT volunteering, community service, and tutoring in science, math, SAT, and ACT.
He served as the president of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Furthermore, he exhibited a keen interest in languages such as Spanish, Greek, Latin, Syriac, and Malayalam.
In addition to his scholastic achievements, Paul showcased his musical talent as a pianist, earning recognition with the National Award for Music Education (NAfME) and representing the National Choir at Disney World in Florida.
Looking ahead, Paul disclosed his intention to pursue a Master’s program in Humanities post-graduation before embarking on the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at New Jersey Medical School, underscoring his unwavering commitment to academic excellence and multifaceted pursuits.
