Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria 300l Mechanical Engineering student identified as Usman Dalhatu has won a huge amount of money because of his talent. Usman was known for being a student who had built a solar power cooker that has a television.
The talented engineering student has won a $10,000 (over N5m) start-up grant from The Rockefeller Foundation Funded Nigeria Climate Centers 2021 off-grid energy incubation programme.
Usman was popularly known during the Covid-19 Pandemic when he built an automatic solar ventilator.

The young man who had been recognized by the federal government in the past for creating an automatic ventilator was one of the eight winners from a final list of 21.
According to the CEO of All-On Weibe Boer, the funds given to Usman, CEO of Dalsman Tech, will be used to scale up production of the innovation to kiosk franchise owners in Kaduna, Kano, FCT, and Abuja.
