The university, which got its operational licence on 3 November 2009 from the National Universities Commission, belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Enugu in Nigeria.

Godfrey Okoye University Post UTME Eligibility.

• Candidates must possess a minimum of five credits at not more than two sittings in the SSCE before applying for admission. These must include English and Mathematics and pre-requisite courses for the degree programme.
• Candidates applying to GO University must have a suitable score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Basic Requirements for Full Admission:

• O’Level Result: 5 credits in the required subjects of the chosen course of study, including English and Mathematics.
• Minimum JAMB score: Medicine & Surgery (200), Nursing (180), Faculty of Law (200), Architecture (150), Computer Science (150), Education (150), Other Programmes (150).
• Candidates who did not choose Godfrey Okoye University as their first choice university should do CHANGE OF INSTITUTION to make Godfrey Okoye their first choice university.
• Possession of JAMB Admission Letter completes the admission process

Can I Apply If I Did Not Choose GO University? Yes, you can apply to the university, but you must apply online to JAMB for Change of Institution. With our recommendation, JAMB will post you to Godfrey Okoye University.

How to Apply for Godfrey Okoye University Post UTME

• Apply online – On submitting the form, a reply will be sent to the candidate’s email address (Please give an active email address) within three working days regarding whether admission is offered.
• Apply for admission into any programme in the College of Medicine, Faculties of Arts; Education; Law; Management and Social Sciences; Natural Sciences and Environmental Studies.

4. Payment of Fees

• The candidate can start paying fees after receiving admission offer: Acceptance Fee, Tuition, ICT and other fees (see Fee Structure attached). Follow the guideline for online payment of fees.

NOTE: Prospective Law & College of Medicine students must pass their screening test before making payments.
