UNN, ABU, UNILAG Top List of Federal Varsities With the Highest Allocation in 2023 Budget 2023

CURSORY: It is no news that the proposed budget for 2023 has been made public and according to the budget, the funding for some universities were increased, check out the full details below.

The federal government has increased its allocations to federal universities across the country.

According to reports that are based on thorough analysis, all universities and technical colleges received a higher allocation from the previous year.

The Budget, which was titled “fiscal sustainability and transition budget” is the highest in Nigeria’s history and also 19% higher than the 2022 budget.

Due to the 8-month face-off between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), budget allocations for Nigerian universities were seriously taken into consideration, the federal government decided to adjust upwards what will be available for universities to spend.

Below is a list of universities with the highest budget allocation.
