AFIT Postgraduate Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following National Universities Commission (NUC) accredited Postgraduate programmes offered in the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna cordially invites applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into various postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The online application portal is now open.

The available programmes are listed below while the admission requirements for the various courses are detailed at the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Postgraduate Studies website: https://portal.afit.edu.ng.

AFIT Postgraduate Courses.

The following postgraduate courses are available in the institute:

• MSC Aerospace Vehicle Design.
• M.Eng Aerospace Engineering.
• PGD Aerospace Engineering
• PGD Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Construction Technology.
• PGD Logistics and Supply Chain Management

AFIT Postgraduate Admission Requirements.

• MSC Aerospace Vehicle Design:
  • Minimum five credits including English and Maths in not more than two sittings.
  • Minimum of second class lower in First Degree Aerospace Engineering, material sciences or physics, mechanical Engineering, Electrical /Electronic Engineering. Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Material Science Engineering and other related fields
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Maths in not more than two sittings.
  • Minimum of Third Class in Engineering, Material Sciences or Physics or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/|Electronic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Material Science Engineering.
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Maths in not more than two sittings
  • A minimum grade of B.Sc degree with Third Class Honours or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Purchasing & Supply and other related fields.
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Maths in not more than two sittings
  • A minimum of Third Class in first Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and other related fields.
• Masters Programme in Construction Engineering
  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Maths in not more than two sittings
  • A minimum of Second Class Honours in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/|Electronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering and Material Science Engineering or Physics.

How to Apply for AFIT Postgraduate Admission Form.

All eligible applicants are to complete the online Postgraduate application form by visiting the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Postgraduate Studies website at https://portal.afit.edu.ng.

All applications must be accompanied with an application fee of N20,000.00 only.

• All candidates must have a valid NYSC discharge certificate or exemption or exclusion letter.
• All candidates must have attained satisfactory level of performance in the admission screening.
• AFIT is a strike-free Institution with zero tolerance for vices.
• Successful applicants should be prepared to take care of their accommodation issues.
