Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria Policy On Return of Unclaimed Copies of NYSC Exemption Certificates


This is to inform graduates of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria who did not collect their NYSC Exemption Certificates that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has directed that all Corps producing institutions should return all unclaimed certificates from inception to date to the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja, on or before 15th March, 2023.
In view of the above, affected graduates are advised to collect their Exemption Certificates in Room 122, NYSC Mobilization Office, First Floor, Senate Building not later than Friday, 10th March, 2023. Graduates are required to present their original copies of Degree Certificates or Statement of Results along with National Identity Card or such other means of identification (National Drivers License, Permanent Voters Card, International Passport) for the collection of the NYSC Exemption Certificates.
Beginning with the next batch of Exemption Certificate to be delivered to Corps producing institutions, all unclaimed Certificates shall henceforth be returned to NYSC within six (6) months of receipt from the Scheme. Also, it should be noted that collection of Exemption Certificates by proxy will not be entertained.
