ABU Zaria Approved Study Transfer to its Distance Learning Centre Degree Programmes

The Senate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU Zaria) has Approved Study Transfer to its Distance Learning Centre Undergraduate Degree Programmes

Another milestone has been achieved by the Distance Learning Centre (DLC) of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. The Ahmadu Bello University at its 517th Senate meeting held on 1st December, 2022 has approved transfer of studies to ABU-DLC undergraduate degree programmes. By this approval, ABU-DLC would start accepting and processing transfer applications from programmes that are available at ABU mainstream (Intra-University transfer) and programmes from other Universities (Inter-University transfer) that are fully accredited/recognized by the National Universities Commission

In the interim, candidates can only transfer their studies to undergraduate degree programmes available at the ABU-DLC. The transfer is only allowed from 200-300 levels for 4-year degree programmes, and 200-400 level for 5-year degree programmes. Candidates are to note that all University minimum entry requirements for admission must be satisfied. Also, the minimum CGPA’s are 1.50 and 2.4 for Intra- University and Inter-University Transfers respectively.

Guidelines For Transfer To Distance Learning Centre Degree Programmes

Note that, candidates are required to carefully study the transfer guidelines before submitting their applications. To submit Transfer application:

• Visit ABUDLC Application Portal via: https://abudlc.vigilearnapply.com/login 
• For fresh applicant, click on Sign-up
• Complete the Sign-up section and submit
• Activate Email notification to login
• Go through ‘Eligibility for Transfer information
• Apply by filling the fields on the Application form and submit 
• Proceed to the Payment gateway to initiate payment transaction
• Complete Payment and Submit application 
• Get Submission Notification
