Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Important Notice to Graduating Students and Live Streaming Details
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has issued a notice to all graduating First Degree and Postgraduate students concerning their participation in the upcoming 15th Convocation ceremonies. This blog post will outline the mandatory requirements, schedule of payments, gown return deadlines, and live streaming details for the Convocation events.
LATEST UPDATE: LAUTECH information to all graduating students
This is to inform all graduating students that they are to pay the sum of five thousand naira (5,000.00) only for Certificate folder.
By a copy of this release, Bursar and Director of LAUTECH information Communication and Technology Centre (LICTC) are being informed for their further actions.
Mandatory Participation and Dress Code
All graduating First Degree and Postgraduate students are required to participate in the academic procession fully dressed in approved academic gowns. Students who do not comply with the dress code will not be allowed to process, and they will not be allowed to join the procession midway. During the ceremony, students will not be permitted to enter or exit the venue at will.
Fees and Payments
Graduating students must pay all stipulated fees, including the fee for the Order of Proceedings, which contains the names of all graduating students. The prescribed fees for the academic gowns are as follows:
- First Degree: N10,000.00
- Master/Postgraduate Diplomas: N12,000.00
- PhD. Degree: N17,500.00
Robing Venue and Schedule
Graduating students must arrive at the robing venue, at the designated place, by 9:00 am. The procession for graduating students on each day will start at 9:30 am.
Gown Return Deadline
Graduands must return their hired academic gowns on or before Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, to their respective Faculty Officers/College Secretary, from whom they collected them. Defaulters will be charged a fine of One thousand Naira (N1,000.00) daily until the gown is returned.
2023 Convocation Ceremony Live Streaming
The 2023 Convocation Ceremony will be streamed live on various channels, including LAUTECH’s website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Zoom.
