Federal College Of Land Resources Technology, Owerri Gets National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accreditation of courses.

Recently, the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) led by Director Samaila Tanko paid a visit to FECOLART (Federal College of Land Resources and Technology, Owerri) for the accreditation of eight of its courses.
The NBTE, accompanied by their team of experts, carefully examined the college’s facilities, resources, staff strength, and qualifications to ensure that the programs could be effectively delivered. During their visit, the NBTE team assessed various aspects of the college, including the availability and quality of equipment, tools, and materials required to run the courses.
They also evaluated the staff’s qualifications and their ability to deliver high-quality education. Additionally, the team inspected the buildings, workshops, and other physical infrastructure necessary for a conducive learning environment.
To the delight of the FECOLART community, the NBTE team was genuinely impressed with what they observed during their visit.
They commended the college for its commitment to providing quality education and its focus on developing the necessary resources.
The visitation crew acknowledged the efforts made by FECOLART to provide a conducive learning atmosphere for its students. However, the NBTE team also identified a few areas where improvements were required.
They urged the college’s management to address these shortcomings to further enhance the learning experience for the students. Understanding the importance of meeting these recommendations, the Provost of FECOLART assured the NBTE team that every effort would be made to make the recommended changes, even if it meant acquiring loans.
The news of FECOLART’s successful accreditation was met with great excitement and joy among the students. This achievement is a testament to the dedication of the college’s administration, faculty, and students in maintaining high standards and striving for excellence. With the accreditation, FECOLART can now proceed confidently in offering the eight courses that have received the NBTE’s nod.
This development not only boosts the college’s reputation but also provides reassurance to current and prospective students that they will receive quality education and be equipped with the necessary skills for their future careers. Congratulations to the students of FECOLART for this significant milestone. Your hard work and commitment to learning have been recognized, and this accreditation serves as a testament to your efforts. May this achievement inspire you to aim higher and continue excelling in your chosen fields of study.
