BSU Resumption Date: The School management has announced the Resumption Date for 2025/2026 Academic Session. Details below


The Senate of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAU), at its 338th Emergency Meeting held on Friday, 24th July, 2026, approved the Second Semester Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
In line with the approved academic calendar, all students are to resume for the second semester on Monday, 27th July, 2026. Registration for the second semester will commence immediately upon resumption and run until Friday, 7th August, 2026.
According to the calendar, lectures for undergraduate students will commence on Monday, 10th August, 2026, while postgraduate students are expected to resume on Monday, 17th August, 2026.
The University Management therefore directs all returning students to arrive on campus promptly and complete their registration within the stipulated period to ensure a smooth commencement of academic activities.
Parents, guardians and members of the public are hereby informed that the University has made adequate arrangements for the successful commencement of the second semester, and all students are encouraged to conduct themselves in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University.
The approved academic calendar has been made available through the University’s official communication channels for the guidance of staff, students and the general public.
The University Management wishes all students a safe journey back to campus and a productive second semester.
