A Doctor recounts how a married woman was sent home from NYSC camp for having an affair 24 hours after she got there.

A doctor recounted how a married woman was sent home just 24 hours after arriving at the NYSC camp for having an affair.
The doctor, known as @the_beardedsina, shared his experience on X from his service year at the Non-wam Gbam Tai camp in Rivers State.
He recounted that during his stay, a married woman was caught having sex with a fellow camper. According to NYSC rules, engaging in sexual activity on camp grounds is prohibited, and violators are sent home.
He imagined how her husband must have felt when he learned his wife was sent home for infidelity just a day after traveling to another state for NYSC.
The doctor’s post read:
“During my camp at Non-wam Gbam Tai in Rivers, a married woman was caught having sex with a camper on Day 2. She was sent home immediately. Imagine being sent back to your husband for having sex with a stranger just 24 hours after traveling to another state for NYSC.”
The doctor shared his experience in response to a tweet that questioned why some men do not allow their wives to attend NYSC camp.

The husband was her next of kin and had to be informed of her dismissal. Some women removed their wedding bands to get attention and money from guys at the Mami market. It’s unbelievable!”
@ucheychukwu0 shared: “In Obubra, even soldiers were caught with married women and single men. A married man, whose wife had just given birth to twins, was caught in a threesome.”
@nkemdiii added: “The same thing happened when I camped at Nonwa Gbam Tai. Most married women voluntarily left on day 1, a few got caught and were sent home. By the end of the first week, almost all married women in my room had gone home.”
