Man Calls Out School for Grammatical Errors Made by English Teacher, Urges Parents to Monitor Education

A Nigerian man criticized a school for grammatical errors made by an English teacher, urging parents to monitor their children’s education to prevent misinformation.

A Nigerian man has criticized a school for multiple grammatical mistakes made by an English teacher, urging parents to pay closer attention to their children’s education.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man recounted his observations during a visit to the school, highlighting several troubling errors. He pointed out that the teacher incorrectly identified a boy as a family member while explaining family roles, which he noted as an inaccurate example.

He also flagged spelling mistakes on the board, including the incorrect spelling of the word “niece.”

Expressing his concerns, he advised parents to stay vigilant, warning that inexperienced teachers could mislead students with inaccurate lessons. “The mistakes I saw on the board that day were too many to ignore,” he wrote, explaining that although he initially considered overlooking them, the volume of errors compelled him to speak out.

His post sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many users sharing their thoughts on the incident.

Below are some of the responses:

  • Cruise__boi💨💦🙈: “Let me gist you: my neighbor’s daughter just finished SS3 at 16, and now she’s teaching. What do you expect from her? 😂😂”
  • Slimzy 640😍: “Jesus! 😂 Are parents even paying attention to these things?”
  • IBRAHIM⛎: “Those third-class graduate corps members are the problem. Even students correct them in class. 🥺”
