FUO Governing Council Names FUO’s First Professor of Sociology, One Other to Professorial Rank.

The Governing Council of Fountain University is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Liadi O.F. and Dr. Ogunbode S.M. to the rank of Professor, effective immediately.

This milestone marks a significant achievement for the duo as they peak their academic career.

Reacting to the promotion, the Vice-Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, congratulated Professors Liadi and Ogunbode, commending their commitment to academic excellence. Prof. Karim expressed prayers for Allah’s blessings, wisdom, and guidance as they embark on this new phase.

According to the Registrar and Secretary of Council, Mr. Sherrif Adenekan, the promotion is an indication of Prof. Liadi and Ogunbode’s outstanding contributions to the field of Sociology and Biochemistry respectively as well as their dedication to the growth and development of Fountain University.

The elevation of these academic Staff to the professorial rank is a reflection of Fountain University’s commitment to academic excellence and its mission to produce world-class scholars and researchers.
