AAU Update on Issuance of Students’ Transcript .

The Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Professor Eunice O. Omonzejie, has approved an updated policy on the issuance of students’ academic transcripts, with effect from January 2026.
The approval, granted on behalf of the University Senate, introduces key changes aimed at improving transparency and enhancing the global acceptability of AAU academic records.
According to the new policy, students’ copies of academic transcripts will henceforth contain both examination scores and their corresponding grades. This replaces the existing format, which reflected grades only.
In addition, the University has made it mandatory for all graduating students to obtain their personal copies of academic transcripts, in line with the practice applicable to academic certificates.
The University explained that the updated transcript policy is designed to:
Enhance transparency and international recognition of students’ academic records;
Meet documentation requirements of foreign universities, professional bodies, and credential evaluation agencies; and
Provide complete and clearly interpretable academic records for academic and professional applications.
The Registrar, Mrs. Oluwayomi O. Agbebaku (MANUPA, MNIM), conveyed the approval and directed that the policy be implemented promptly.
