When will UNIUYO resume school: University of Uyo (UNIUYO) Resumption Date for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 Academic Sessions.


This is to inform all students that resumption of studies for 2nd semester 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions will commence on Monday, April 20, 2026.
The University of Uyo has officially announced the resumption of studies for all undergraduate (Years 1–5) and postgraduate students for the second semester of the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.
The resumption follows the conclusion of the first semester examinations, which ended on April 2, 2026, and a two-week break for students from April 6 to April 17, 2026.
Key Dates for Students:
Registration without penalty: April 20 – May 8, 2026 (3 weeks)
· Registration with penalty: May 11 – May 22, 2026 (2 weeks)
· Lectures: April 20 – July 10, 2026 (12 weeks)
· Students’ Union Week: July 13 – July 17, 2026
· Revision Exercise: July 20 – July 24, 2026
· Second Semester Examinations: July 27 – August 21, 2026
· Long Vacation: August 24 – October 2, 2026
· Commencement of First Semester (2025/2026 & 2026/2027 sessions): October 5, 2026
