The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Muhammadu Ahmad AbdulAzeez, has appreciated the Federal Ministry of Education for playing a fatherly role to the Education Sector in the country


The VC commended the the Federal Ministry of Education while receiving scholarship award letters on behalf of 63 ATBU students in his office at the Gubi Campus on January 28, 2021.
The Vice Chancellor said such gesture would greatly help indigent students who make the list. He assured them that the University would organise an orientation seminar for the beneficiaries on how best to utilize the money given to them.
The Director/Secretary of Scholarship Board, Federal Ministry of Education, Mrs Ndajiwo Asta Hamma Joda, commended the staff and students for putting in their best and urged them to do more. She said this through the Executive officer 1 of the Ministry, Malam Chiroma Mohammed
She said 70 ATBU students won the award in the 2018 competition
The ATBU awardees comprised undergraduate, Masters and PhD students.
The examination which was computer based was conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB)
