University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) Inter-University/Department Transfer Forms for 2025/2026 Session are now on sale. The form cost between N50,000 and N250,000 depending on the exact form.


We are pleased to announce that the sale of transfer forms for both Inter-University and Inter-Departmental transfers has officially begun for the 2025/2026 academic session. Students interested in transferring are required to make payments into the University’s Remita Account as follows:
Interested persons are to pay non-refundable at the Microfinance Bank, University of Maiduguri, and obtain Bursary receipt before collection of forms from the Directorate of Senate and Academic Matters.
According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, the exercise is open to all interested staff and students seeking either inter-university or inter-departmental transfers.
The details are as follows:
- Inter University transfer within Nigeria – N150,000.00
- Inter University transfer from abroad – N250,000.00
- Inter departmental transfer (voluntary) – N100,000.00
- Inter departmental transfer (obligatory) – N50,000.00
Please ensure that you have been released from your current department and accepted in the Department in view before payment.
On payment please report to the Directorate of Senate and academic matters to obtain the forms. The Directorate shall not be required to proces Department to accept students on transfer please
